Before the construction of the Aswan dam, the Nile valley was following the pace of the floods. Taking into considerations the limits of the Nile, we developed an alternative solution based on a modular system of riverside cities. Each of these cities, structured by a hydrological system, converges toward a reservoir lake. On a country scale, it enables us to obtain a more natural regulation of the Nile, bringing the rhythm of the floods into line with the agricultural rhythm. To conclude, this multi-urban project reinforces the dynamic of Egypt within the Nile Valley.
